Job Description : Front of House
This position would entail duties from meet & greet, explaining menus, taking payments, clearing tables and yes, even washing pots and other cleaning. Front of House is primarily responsible for the visual appearance of everything within Josephine’s and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
You must be of the right work ethic – this is challenging job and involves a lot of both physical and mental focus as you will be taking bookings and other duties too. We like to give our staff room to grow so this is fantastic role for those that consider themselves leaders – if you require continually being given instructions then this isn’t the role for you!

Job Description : Kitchen Assistant
As part of our kitchen team you will be doing everything from preparing Afternoon Tea fillings, making sandwiches, cooking our homemade dishes, plating up in service and much more!
You will also help out with washing pots, stock control and ordering, coming up with menu ideas.
Most importantly this role is a TEAM role. Whilst you should be able to work independently we are more focussed in having a strong team ethic. We support each other and are successful because of that and reject the traditional “head chef” and the high pressure and often aggressive culture that it brings.

This position would entail duties such as washing pots, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, helping all sections as required, cleaning tables etc.
Progression into kitchen: It may lead into food preparation, cooking and ultimately into service and plate presentation.
Progression into front of house: It may lead into waiting on tables, barista and bar work, customer service.
